Sorry for the late report. The wife and I made a quick trip to Stockton last weekend, fished for five hours or so Saturday. Bounced slow death rigs in 20-25' of water on a main lake point and found a few walleye. Kept four 'eyes that were 16"-18.5" and a crappie, but caught seven keeper walleye. Was a great day on the water, looking forward to the next trip!

It is almost that time where the bouncing and flickers will be the go to thing...the flickers are getting some results now but in a week or two it will get really.. got some new colors to try and i want to try bouncing that red slow death rig. Good luck fellas keepem coming on the reports...ive had to pull my daughter from her day care and the next few days i have off will be spent with her until she starts back at her old one so itll be a couple weeks before i get out. Thats one of many reasons i love OAF because even if you cant get to the water it still seems like in a way youve been every day...good luck guys. Ps my dad caught a mess of buck crappie around greenfield 5-8 fow right onthe bottom.. 4-6 ft visibility and 67-69 degrees. Real real light bite..sounds like they were holding on the nest.

How about some info boys? What is a slow death rig? A pic would be really nice. I was in Cabela's the other day and never saw anything in the walleye area that said "slow death rig". A couple of buddies of mine will be down Sat, Sun and Monday. Hoping to get on some "eyes!!"

Smithvillesteve here's a link to the mustad website http://www.mustad.no/www2010/products/product-news/a-perspective-on-perfection

I snell the slow death hook to a 3' or so leader with a bead and a swivel. Use quality swivels to make sure it spins. It's fished on a bouncer at 1-1.5 mph. They should produce on Smithville as well!

Boobie, I was midlake area. Hope you put your son on some 'eyes!
