gitnby Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 no one is replying because they are all out night fishing with the Ned? I have not fished it at night, but I can tell you that the PBJ color is deadly right before dark. Few weeks ago, we caught them like crazy just as the sun was setting. Do they even make a black Zero or ZinkerZ? Might be worth a try?
dtrs5kprs Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Sorry. Have been busy working jigs. Yes, throw it after dark, or before sun up. They will find it just fine. About the same size as the little old hair jigs we used to throw back in the dark ages. Those were a brown fish staple. A bait does not need to rattle, shake, or blow sirens to catch bass at night.
Bass Enforcer Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 PH hunter. Yes they do work after dark. The one thing I think I have learned is to slowly swim them after dark. Keeping them just ticking the bottom.
Fish24/7 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 it works, I've done well with the junebug trd and bama,or green pumpkin orange zinker up until july or august. Seems less effective for me when the majority go 30'+ deep closer to the thermocline.
Bass Enforcer Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 The are a couple of small is I caught over the weekend after dark. A 3.5 and a 4lb. I know I look like cap I hung drywall all day. But to reiterate...for sure you can catch them after dark. I even caught a nice walleye. And yes everything as always went back to the big pond.
Bass Enforcer Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Okay so I re read my last post. Wow,I didn't realize the grammatical errors. What it was supposed to say was....I know I look like crap I hung drywall all day. I had a couple of smallies that I attempted to attach but it said the file was too big. I knew the fish were big, but not that big. Lol. I would like to post some pics and thought I had it figured out. Can someone help? Thanks.
SplitG2 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Enforcer, There's a "posting pics" thread somewhere on the main board that should help. Looking forward to seeing them. Drywall crap means your getting close...to finishing your project or divorce. I hope the earlier.

Go into your phones photo editing tool and save pics as 5mp. Hope that works.
