Sorry for not responding yesterday. The winning stringer was 5 fish about 14.5 lbs. Only two lunkers (4+ lbs) weighed from 58 anglers. Pretty much the norm. Last week there were 4 lunkers from 68 anglers. As I stated earlier the numbers of bass are great, but quality is poor. Week after week the tournament results will substantiate this. The 1.5-2.5 fish are healthy. There is a void in 2.5-4.0 fish.

mam o man did it rain i got soaked through my rain suit. we only had three fish and none after dark bfl2short had two keeps and i caught a nice fat 15'' spot that you'd thought i'd caught on the rock instead of stockton. found out there was a good buzzbait bite in the back of the pockets about dark. i think besides a crank its the only thing we didnt throw.

Swap to a Rays custom spinnerbait. Think it will help you. Bite pretty good around high point

I was up around highpoint fishing pockets in back of coves, got frustrated when I pulled down to the ramp and saw how muddy the water was, maybe by next weekend it will clear up

I go to mt.Vernon ever Wednesday I will have to check in on these. Thanks

papis bait is based on a war eagle but the advantage to ours is we can customize the blades and skirts to exactly what you want. the other difference is papi uses harder lead and .040 size wire on the daytime baits and same lead with .037 wire on the nightime thumpers so they vibrate better. i'll be around the shop for awhile wednesday morning but will be on stockton in the afternoon. i'll try to meet you there to introduce you to papi.
