I can't seem to find any deep bass anywhere. I have tried ledges bluffs bridges but cannot seem to find them around the 33 mm. Any suggestions on baits or places near the 33 would greatly help thanks.

If the boat traffic isn't too bad in that area you can just run the seawalls. Buzzbaits, spooks, jigs or T-rig lizards will draw some keeper bites tight to the walls now.

When the waves are crashing the walls though it isn't worth the effort, go find some protected water where it isn't rockin and rollin until it settles down in the evening.

Don't fall apart cuz they didn't bite TODAY. I purposely didn't go out cuz I kinda figured it was gonna be "one of those days". Hotter than hell, not a cloud in the sky....No thanks! Every bite would have been a fluke (and a short).

The weekend looks promising though. :)

There is always the turd(Ned) in PB&J. You will catch fish on that thing if they are there although there will be a lot of shorts. I threw one with a 1/16 mushroom on 6# test a couple weeks ago on the lower end and it was ridiculous how many fish I caught - the lighter head was the deal as it would just tick bottom if it ever made it that far before getting bit. If that won't catch them, they ain't there.

Is there a night bite yet?

Apparently so, it's taking 16-18# to get a check on Tuesday nights. Pretty sure it's a seawall bite and not 20' brushpiles though.

You ain't gonna Ned rig THOSE fish. :)

No, the brush pile bite is a sinking mans game. I've seen a lot of new ones in good spots this year though...
