Members NianguaMark Posted June 11, 2015 Members Posted June 11, 2015 Hearing people talk about the ned rig I'm so excited to try it.Bass pro was sold out of shroom heads but I found some at a local sporting goods store. Be heading down there tomorrow evening! I just enjoy catching fish all sizes and species sounds like the ned rig is for me
fishinwrench Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Mark, Camdenton Wal-Mart has Arkie heads that will do just fine. The better fish are behind the docks on steep banks with seawalls though.... No place for 6-8# line and wimpy rods because you have to wrestle them over cables. As crazy as it might sound, the better fish actually like the added cover of a pair of cables just under the surface. If the cables are out of the water it is less likely to hold a 3+ pounder. Luckily at the current lake level most cables are under the surface. j-ham 1
