I was out of the country last week and have been chained to my desk since I got back. Anyone finding any mushrooms of interest, particularly any chanterelles?

Johnsfolly,

I was told they were out, did not see any but will look in my patches this weekend and report.

Went and checked some places that i hunt morels and found a few 2 in gold chantrelles and a bunch more little ones and then come into a patch pf hundreds of tiny red chantrelles. Hope they are cause there was a ton of them. Im gonna go back wed and check them

The small red ones are probably cinnabar chants...they don't get very big. The commons and the smooth chants can get pretty big though.
