Members james Posted June 18, 2015 Members Posted June 18, 2015 Found this mess in my neighborhood at a intersection, seems to be all LM, hard to say where they came from but Lake Conway being only 4 miles away is a good guess { not TR, everyone stay calm } Doesn't matter where their from, very sad either way.
Ketchup Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Fish tacos. Appears they did a pretty good job at taking most of the meat. Cant agree with the discarding decision tho. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Greasy B Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 A lot of folks are doing that. I just got invited to a fish fry, all TR smallies. MOPanfisher Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Worst thing about that is that it would quickly become a rather stinky nasty mess in the warm humid weather.

Al Agnew Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 A couple years ago I was fishing my neighborhood small creek, which at the time was full of really nice smallmouth, but it's a tiny stream that definitely can't take much fishing pressure--it has since gone downhill somewhat because a couple of idiots publicized it on a website as holding big smallmouth, and now there are more people fishing it and some of them keeping fish. There's a house right on the creek, barely high enough to not flood, in one spot; it's the only house that's really visible from the creek itself. I don't know who lives there; although I've seen them in the yard once or twice, I don't think they saw me and I didn't call attention to myself. On this day, as I came wading up the creek adjacent to the house, I could see a pile of fish remains that looked just like that from 50 feet away, and my heart just sank. When I got up close enough to see them well, though, they turned out to be all largemouth, all around 2-3 pounders. Since there are almost zero largemouth in this part of the creek, I breathed a sigh of relief. Apparently they had gone to some lake and caught those, and brought them home before cleaning them.
