aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Only got to fish a couple hours, Started at 6:30 woke up a little late. Water Temp was 83. One keeper Spot right off the bat on a Bone colored Whopper Plopper. First time using it and it seems like such a fine tuned bait out of the package. I really think i missed the topwater bite. being an hour later than i had planned...I saw a lot of fish chasing on top but it quickly ended. So i threw the ned for the next hour, boat in about 30-35 fow. caught a lot of short smallies. Decided to throw a spoon around some deep docks with only one short smallie. Ended up getting a few decent fish flipping bushes and trees with a Missouri craw colored jig tipped with a rage bama craw... most of the bites were right on fairly big trees in 3-4 feet of water. I would post some pics but i think everyone knows what a 15" largemouth looks like...All the shallow fish were largemouth....I took out at about 10, wish i could have stayed longer but i had to get home for Baby duty...Also it was getting hot and the wakeboarders were coming out in full force...They tend to rock me pretty hard in my Tracker. Water temp was about the same when i took out... Codywskeeter1521, abkeenan, 5bites and 1 other 4
5bites Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Missouri craw is my favorite bush/willow/tree pitching color. I don't know why but it has just been reliable. Good report.
