Old Dead Battery Core Trade In?

I thought I remembered someone here was saying that a place in the Table Rock area paid for old battery cores? Like $10 or $15 a core. We have quite a few old batteries just laying around our property (grandpa was a pack rat, re-purposer type and nothing went to waste in his eyes). Grandmother was wanting to get rid of them and figured I'd ask you guys. Any $ for them for my grandma would be great but just getting rid of them would be great too.

take them to a salvage yard. We took several old golf cart batteries a month or so ago. They brought $10 each.

You might call Chri Tetrick Mid Lakes guide service, he is using a lot of lead and may be interested.

I took a couple to Interstate Battery on Kearney street in Springfield and they gave me $8.00 each for a size 27. They pay like $.25 a pound. Nixa junk yard was paying . $.12 a pound. This was just about a week ago.

Humm wonder if the scrap yard at Reed Springs takes old batteries. You might give them a call to see.
