Clay Goforth Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I know, I know… I already posted this in the Norfork thread but a fish like this deserves to be shared in general angling discussion for all to see. I had nothing to do with this catch, just thought everyone might like to see this fish. Caught on the Norfork last weekend, 20.9lb brown trout, 33"long. Caught on a worm and power bait combo. Fish was kept and is being mounted. vonreed Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Wow what an impressive catch. I can only imagine how many fishing lines that thing broke. I'm surprised somebody would keep it though. Thanks for the picture.
Ham Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Great Big Old Fish. I would have been happy with a Good Photo, but to each his own. darn thing should have died from embarrassment for being fooled by Power Bait. snagged in outlet 3 and Clay Goforth 2 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Mounts, of any kind, just seem kind of dorky to me. Not as dorky as a Yeti hat, but pretty close. Ham and Fishingmill 2
Clay Goforth Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 I do love how beat up the mouth is on that fish…Looks like he might have been digging around in the rocks after the sculpin spawn or something.
