MOPanfisher Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Very nice! I would have to take a bucket and add water to it until pulled the old dial scale to 19.4 lbs then weigh in on a real scale just to see how close it was. Regardless it was a whopper of a bass.

Using Florida F & W's own measuring system on the website, the fish is pushing the absolute maximum on weight given the length and girth of the fish. I think I would've found a way to get that fish onto an official scale vs. just releasing it.

I agree. I don't like the whole idea of killing a fish to get your name in the record books. That just makes no sense to me.
