rps Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 I would be willing to bet the lake contains a smallmouth over 7, a largemouth over 11, and a spot over 7. I would also bet a walleye over 20 is out here. Don't stop believin'. marcus, crazy4fishin and Mitch f 3
Champ188 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Funny stuff, rps. Thanks for the chuckle. That's part of what makes OAF the great site that it is.
huntest Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 RPS we came close on the smallmouth weight....grandson caught what many people debated was a SM or a meanmouth that was 23.5" with a 17" girth that the calculator says it was 6lb 7oz....not sure where you go from there when you are 8 years old....LOL Champ188, rps and Mitch f 3

Steve McBasser Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Dang! That's a nice "mean mouth". My buddy Andy and I caught those things around Shell Knob about 10 years before the MDC would admit they existed. Awesome fish. Mitch f, Champ188 and huntest 3
Champ188 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Those are some fine-looking critters, Steve.
