snagged in outlet 3 Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 I'm sure Chief will chime in. He's a huge ned fan. Pete
Members Fishin4Fun Posted September 12, 2015 Members Posted September 12, 2015 MOPanfisher, Dave recommended the 6'6" medium light St. Croix Eyecon rod to me for fishing the Ned rig and I love it. Great rod and feels great. Highly recommend that one. magicwormman 1 Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. -Henry David Thoreau ForwardMotion Designs Where Your Passions and Dreams Come To Life Online http://ForwardMotionDesigns.com
MOPanfisher Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 Quick look, but I will have to feel it, the split handle thing is a little much for me without laying hands on it first. Will give it a twitch or ten next time I make it to spfld.

The SC Avid 6'9" drop shot rod is also fun, but a little more $. My homebrew sticks are cheap blanks that fish well, 7'6" rods.
