Just thought I would share this in case someone else was thinking of making one (or buying one).  Thanks Phil for blazing the trail.

I made a 20" x 10" x 4" photarium the other day for taking macro photos of fish.  I went to PolyFab here in Springfield and got a 2ft x 2ft piece of 1/4" acrylic for $25.  They also threw in a partially used tube of Weld-On for putting it together (Thanks PolyFab!).  It took just a little over 2 hours to make.

I might add a carrying strap of some kind, so if you see some guy in waders with a big hat, a big backpack, a fly rod, and an aquarium slung over his shoulder, that's me! :)

I'll post more pics once I get some fish in it.

Had a chance to try out the photarium on Saturday.  Should have thought to bring a towel to wipe the water off of the outside...maybe an aquarium brush for the micro bubbles on the inside too.
