Had a little time after work on Friday so the girlfriend and I decided to head to the Little Sac for some fishing. I ended up catching 3 walleye the last 40 minutes before dark, one of those being a 26 1/2 incher that weighed 7 and a half pounds. By far the biggest walleye I have ever caught. I was pretty surprised to catch that many out of one hole this time of year. My girlfriend also caught a couple of whites and a smallmouth that was about 3 pounds and was dragging another keeper walleye onto the bank when the jig popped out of his mouth. All the fish were caught on a shad colored swimming minnow on an 1/8 ounce head. The cutting board in the picture is right at 24 inches long (just for some reference on size)

The big one make the eaters look small.  You should give the smaller ones to me, I have no pride and would eat them for you.:D

Congrats! Think the biggest one I have ever caught was a little over 5 lbs.

Nice catch.  Largest I've pulled out of Stockton measured 26 1/2 as well.  I never weigh so I assume it was about the same.  Stockton is starting to get some good sized walleye these days.  I like it!
