bwcballer10 Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Had a little time after work on Friday so the girlfriend and I decided to head to the Little Sac for some fishing. I ended up catching 3 walleye the last 40 minutes before dark, one of those being a 26 1/2 incher that weighed 7 and a half pounds. By far the biggest walleye I have ever caught. I was pretty surprised to catch that many out of one hole this time of year. My girlfriend also caught a couple of whites and a smallmouth that was about 3 pounds and was dragging another keeper walleye onto the bank when the jig popped out of his mouth. All the fish were caught on a shad colored swimming minnow on an 1/8 ounce head. The cutting board in the picture is right at 24 inches long (just for some reference on size) Mitch f, nomolites, LoweSTX175 and 1 other 4
MOPanfisher Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 The big one make the eaters look small. You should give the smaller ones to me, I have no pride and would eat them for you.
Kramr Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Congrats! Think the biggest one I have ever caught was a little over 5 lbs.
LoweSTX175 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Nice catch. Largest I've pulled out of Stockton measured 26 1/2 as well. I never weigh so I assume it was about the same. Stockton is starting to get some good sized walleye these days. I like it!
bwcballer10 Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 Unfortunately panfisher, I am eating the big one and the eaters for lunch currently, along with a couple of others that I caught when I went back to the river Saturday afternoon. Not alot better than walleye! MOPanfisher 1
