Members pantera2 Posted October 6, 2015 Members Posted October 6, 2015 Has anyone been seeing any while fishing?? More importantly any with a rocking chair strapped to the top of there head? I've seen several does in the backs of pockets, just no bucks in a while.
Members Lusty Murfax Posted October 7, 2015 Members Posted October 7, 2015 Probably not what you are looking for, but I hit one Saturday morning with our Suburban. $3600 and change damage. It was 6:00 am, but I could tell he was a big healthy looking 10 to 12 pointer. Best looking buck I've seen in several years. I hit him in the left hind quarter and he kept a runnin. We hit him in DeKalb Co. about ten minutes from home, as we were heading to Columbia for the South Carolina game.
Members vpk2488 Posted October 8, 2015 Members Posted October 8, 2015 Saw a small 7 or 8 point and couple different does with sets of twins last week one evening in shell knob area. Buck wasn't too worried bout me fishing only 20 yards aways or so.
Champ188 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Studies have shown that getting a sponsor wrap and power poles for your 4-wheeler, plus attiring yourself in a hunting jersey with your name on the back, should bring the trophy bucks right to you. As with fishing, do not concern yourself with securing actual sponsorships. Just pick some companies you like and plaster their logos all over your 4-wheeler and jersey. The deer will recognize you as a "touring pro" and will walk out of the woods on their hind feet, front feet raised high in surrender. David Unnerstall, magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 3

And make sure your decal assortment includes as many skeletal and pseudo native American deer head designs as possible. Maybe some pink camo for the wife too. I'm not even seeing any deer up here in KS. Have to drive past some corn fields that were just picked going back and forth to school with the kids, and no sign of the buggers. Most years they are in our front lawns in the fall. magicwormman 1
