Members mikes custom fly rods Posted October 16, 2015 Members Posted October 16, 2015 Will be at loz all next week, hope we can boat a slew of crappie. Any suggestions on where to find walleye, will be fishing pb1 and pb2 area but can trailer to a different arm if necessary. Mike brune
fishinwrench Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I personally wouldn't waste a minute trying to catch walleye here, but the crappie fishing should be getting good real quick....if it isn't already. I need to switch gears and see if I can find some. Talked to some guys a couple days ago that caught a nice mess in 7-12' under totally clear skies/bright day, I assume they were shooting docks. marcus 1
Old plug Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I did not spend more than a hour on my dock last week before l had to come up to St. Louis Thursday for Papa duties. I caught about9-10 like wrench said the other guys did 7-10 inches. Middle fatherhood seemed best. In shaded brush.
nomolites Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Try a suspending jerk or shad bait shallow in the evening for walleye. If you find one there are more.... Mike
