Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 14, 2007 Root Admin Share Posted February 14, 2007 None that I know of. Some people want you to think there's only trout here... but not true! Bass (blacks, kentucks, smallies), blue gill, crappie, cats, whites and more.

duckydoty
Last spring I saw a 25-30 lb. blue cat laying just below the rebar hole. That would be fun on the fly rod! duckydoty A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!! Visit my website at.. Ham
Having hooked a approximately 10 lb Bluecat with a 6 wt flyrod using 3 X tippet, I can tell you that a 25 plus pound catfish would be all but impossible on trout gear. At some point, it might decide to go lay down on bottom and just wait you out. Without a lot of pull, nothing happens. My catfish buried up in a grassbed and could not be pulled loose with the tippet I was using. I broke off on 3 before I decided that I was not going to be successful. It would be fun to be sure. That first run when a big catfish figures out that it is hooked is amazing. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Dutch
Where do you fish for Pickerel? No where in MO that I have ever been. They have a bunch in AR if you really want to get into them. BTW: There are also a bunch of suckers in TCMO. A couple of my friends used to gig them there a lot.
