sean c Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 I'm late to the party but I would pick the Ozarks for one main reason and that's the weather you can find outstanding trout fishing in the Ozarks 12 months a year. I know this is a trout discussion but also the diversity of fisheries and species are another strong draw to the Ozarks vs Montana. I fly fish in the Ozarks 12 months a year and there is always something good happening. I would hate to live somewhere where I could only do what I love 6 or less months out of the year and chasing just trout would get old.
mic Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Sean... you do what he did. Buy a home in each area. Duh Your point if very valid, but man I sure loved my trip up there some years ago. sean c 1
sean c Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Not knocking it mic that's for sure matter of fact comparing the two is probably a little silly. If I had a year off to fish and had to choose one of the two I'll take the ozarks. Give me a month off if the summer or fall I'm going to Montana as long as I can fish the ozarks the rest of the year. mic 1
