2015/2016 Winter Fly Swap

So I need to tie 9 flies right? Just checking so I send the correct amount. 1 for each tyer and one to be sent to Phil?

Well sort of.  Technically you only need 8 unless you want to tie one for yourself.  However, I'm wondering out loud if we should tie two for Phil.

Hey everybody... I'm thinking we should tie two flies for Phil's test team in case they lose one on the preverbal first cast.   Does anyone have a problem with 9 flies (assuming we don't get a last minute add)?

Aw heck. Can I play? I blew the dust off my workbench last weekend and found a vise on there. I can tie ness' Extraterrestrial, or a Block ness Monster,  or the ness Hair Caddis or the Gold-Ribbed ness Ear. Pretty please?

I've thought about it a couple of times now but I can't currently keep myself supplied with flies. Actually a good problem to have. I'll join the next one, hopefully a smallmouth swap.

I'll start a small mouth one when this one gets wrapped up. I know we have had one or two around here before. Then I'll have my normal Streamer one that I try to run every summer.

I will be tying one for myself. Having sent out swap flies I know it can be a pain to try to get everyone's piles right. That is why I like when everyone sends one in for themselves and I can just make the proper number of flies in each pile and don't have to worry about whose box is whose. 

I will send 2 or 3 for you to send off as well. Consistency is a big part of how well a fly is tied.
