Advice Please - GoPro for Kids and Family Events

Mic,

I just bought an Olympus TOUGH TG-4. It is a little less than a GoPro (of which I have two) but takes much better pictures, is waterproof up to 15 meters, shockproof, dustproof, etc. It is the body style of a standard point and shoot but is much beefier. It takes great pictures and 1080HD video above OR below the water.  I can't recommend it enough.

Saw Clay's response and just wanted to add that you can save some money buying the off brand accessories.  I'm sure there are differences in the materials used, but my cuz FMCBrandon bought an accessory pack off amazon for like 20 or 30 bucks which came with all kinds of mounts and a bobber contraption, and they all were well made and mounted right up to the GoPro no problem.  The GoPro Bobber thing is like $35 just by itself.  Good way to save a few bucks.

Check out some of my videos. They are done with a 20 dollar camera, like a gopo, but off brand.  You can buy the camera and a bunch of accessories for around 50 dollars. Need more info let me know. I have a youtube channel under my name. It has been fun.
