I'll be there.  This high water will give us a chance to get our boats, trailers and gear ready.  This will be the 2nd year in a row that I have to cancel my winter video tour of parts of the lake.  I have been looking forward to taking a video of TR when it is drawn down, but alas not this year either it seems.

Is it possible to catch bass in these conditions? I'll be back down near the Shell Knob Bridge on Friday and Big Creek on Saturday... Do I have any chance of landing any fish or should I pass on getting all my gear rigged up?

Fish can always be caught. But if you can delay, postpone or go another time at a later date that would be my suggestion. I only say that because there will be so much trash and debris in the water you run the risk of doing serious damage to your boat. Finding access to launch will be another pain in the rump and needs to be considered. Can it be done? Yes. Is it worth the hassle of coming down and potential doing damage to your boat/motor? That is for you to determine.
