Sounds like fun! The Mucky Duck is OK, and the Bubbleroom is creepy. Save your money... and Doc Fords isn't very good IMO. Will have to try Dixie fish.

You should try Ford'so Garage in Cape Coral!!  Really neat place and food is good too.  One of my favorite places.  The house that we stay at is not far from there in Cape Coral.  I think they may have one on Ft Myers? Google it and find it online before you go. Lots of images and Facebook images online.

If you're into Muscle Cars, there is an AWESOME collection of Chevrolet muscle cars in Port Charlotte I think? I took my 14yr old son last summer.  It was great.  Massive collection of old Corvettes, Cameros, etc.  Some are priceless.  An original 69 Camero SS, original paint, tires, etc with only 13,000 miles (or something like that).   Very cool experience.  They bought an old Walmart and converted it into a museum.

Ah the food selections down there.

Grouper.

Good stuff.

Mangrove or red snapper is good also.

Doc Fords sucked and that's all I have to say about that.   Today's fishing was tough.  The are releasing huge water out of okeechobee and its mud water. They've had the problem since January.  One small snook caught and one broke off. No other bites at all. You could clearly see the difference in water color today.

Still a nice day and Captain Steve didn't try to conserve gas. We ran everywhere.  Funny thing. We pull into the second spot and flip that pin fish in there and bam I'm on.  We both grinned thinking it was on.  One more bite that I broke off in a mangrove and that was it.

Cant wait to go out again!
