Hey Guys and Gals,

Here are some water temps for today, January 29th, 2016.

One of these days I am going to make a cast every stop I make!

Water temps have cooled off across the lake. There are no readings over 49.0 degrees, even in the main lake. You may find temps higher than that, but my lower lake readings are in permanent shade over 70' of water at Indian Point, so the sun today shouldn't affect that reading much. Also, since the Lake is back down to level, all launch ramps were accessible today. Lots of debris...they were even burning debris piles at Cricket Creek. Lake is stained essentially lake-wide. Creek arms worse than the main lake, although, the main lake is more stained than usual.

I'd love to hear from you guys what these temps actually mean...i.e. is it jerkbait time? What is the plan of attack??

As usual, visit the website for more details and to see the map...

State Park Marina: 48.5

Indian Point Marina: 49.0

Cape Fair Marina: 44.7

Campbell Pointe Marina: 48.6

Kings River Marina: 47.3

Eagle Rock Marina: 44.9

Holiday Island Marina: 47.3

Long Creek Marina: 48.4

Cricket Creek Marina: 47.3

I'm very close to getting funding to have realtime gauges that report temperature to my website. Very close. I hope to have that available to you guys and gals before the Spring warm up.

Good luck out there.
