esox niger
trolling motor right, johnson left... sturdy as can be with the 2" inch pvc outrigger upgrade. the motor's not on the pvc.. I wasn't sure how this was gunna get rigged up but I surprised myself in the end and she's Rock solid and cat approved! My last question would be weather or not to remove the bolt latch that keeps the motor from popping up in reverse.. its 1968 forward only with 180 swivel for reverse and since i shouldn't be reversing with power...it might be for the best to remove it in case of hitting subered logs etc... so i don't jack up the rig/myself with a sudden 10mp -> 0 probably safer IMO.? open to thoughts . darn thats a nice rig.... lol snagged in outlet 3 1 Missouriflies.com Online Carp Fly Store
fishinwrench
Yeah I'd pull the pin. You can also adjust the tilt tension with the 9/16 nut at the front of the mount. Adjust it so that it will hold itself tilted and you won't have to mess with the tilt lock. When you want to deploy it just give it a little push on the cowling. esox niger
mosouthpaw
i have heard tales of buying your kayak/canoe etc from a friend out of state with a bill of sale. my guess would be find a friend who lives in a state that friendly to this kind of transaction. But check the legality of his first... ?
