I have caught them at night under light. Use the same stuff I would during the day.  It seems though like it is better on the outer edges of brightly lit areas rather than closer to the light like crappie. Years ago I used to fish a dock right accross from the mouth of the Little Niangua. You could sit there and catch them for hours sometimes. Every now and then you would get a surprise like a walleye, channel cat or bass. That dock had a very large security light on the end of it threw light over a very large area. Have caught them under same conditions at the mouth of Gravois Arm a few times around Tony's Point. I think its like anything else if you want to do it you will have to search for it.

I've caught a bunch of them at night on clousers. Been a long time since I have done that but it works.

Didn't the line class record white that Michael Kyle caught come at night? Pretty sure it did.

Amery - I grew up in goshen on the river and have spent some time camping on gravel bars. They will bite at night but when the spawn is in full swing forget it. They will get thick in the shallows wrestling around but will not eat once they get in the mood. Good luck let us know.

I tried them a little last year below beaver at night. They were obviously in full spawn mode and wouldn't bite. Sounds like an early run technique.
