My lew's combo came today, put some trilene XL green 12 lbs test on it and been playing in house with it...i think im going to like it may even order another one...lol...might get out Monday to give it a whirl.

For clarity, the Lew's spinning reels that I had problems with are model number TS300H. Looking at the Lew's website, it doesn't seem that model is offered anymore.

I was surprised that Lews doesn't offer the tournament pro any more either, I think they are a very good real, I reckon the new G series has replaced them, the last one I bought a few months ago was on eBay, granted these are not budget friendly reels either, not to get off topic.
