At the risk of opening up a great big can of worms; would the green colored fishing lines work better than fluorocarbon?  I noticed a few reels at the OA tournament yesterday with green line

so I was wondering it it made much difference. I've never used green line other than braid.  Note: The two boats I noticed this green line in did not weigh a fish, so was it the line or person using said line the reason for not catching a fish worthy of weighing ...

I use both, but I also use Chartreuse yellow Nanofil for my finesse fishing (with a fluro or green co-poly leader) so my opinion on this subject may be suspect.

Personally I don't find much difference in catch rates between green or clear line. I use both but to ID line weight. Clear =10# or 12#,  green = 14# or 17#. I don't think the line color would be the deciding factor on using Fluro or Mono. JMO

I use green P-line CX Premium and it's a great line.  I think I catch more fish than when I used the clear Yo-Zuri.

I also use moss green colored P-Line CX Premium. Always had confidence in it and never have issues with it. I love it enough that I buy 3000 yd spools of 8, 10, 12, and 15 lb

Green is one of the last colors to disappear in water. So it is much easier to see subtle strikes by fish. I use it when fishing for crappie in winter or walleye, but always use a flouro leader so the fish don't see it. I've had great results and have detected strikes I would have not seen with clear line. Just my 2 cents anyways.
