I hadon't the day off yesterday, and after I took my son to school at noon I hauled the yak to a local flow (Elk tributary) for some fun. It was on fire! I fished from 1250-345 and caught 57 fish. Most were your standard 10 inch smalljaws  but several were solid with a couple  in the 14 inch range. 75 percent  were brown fish with the rest being Largemouth and goggle eyes. The numbers blew my mind. I figured it  would  be  a  good  afternoon but it was as good as most summer afternoons. 20160331_132629.jpg20160331_133540.jpg20160331_142844.jpg20160331_142853.jpg

Good to hear, I've been itching to get on the river and was hoping it would pick up soon. Nice looking fish!
