merc1997 Bo Posted April 9, 2016 Posted April 9, 2016 that was a whopper of a drum. i think it to be unusual for them to be up that shallow to shoot with a bow. i caught a 20 lb. on a crank bait out of bull shoals, but one is a tank. drum are very good eating also. you have to get rid of all the red like any other fish, but the meat has a very sweet taste much like perch. bo

shark bait Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 The "rocks" in their heads make cool necklaces. The bigger the fish the bigger the calcium rock. Becky B
Bill Jr. Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 caught this a couple years ago at BS. 13.5 lbs thought I had a huge mama on the WW bluebasser86 1
bluebasser86 Posted April 10, 2016 Posted April 10, 2016 Thought I had a new Kansas state record smallmouth on a tube one night last summer, should have known. I have a reputation for being able to catch drum on anything, anywhere though. Never had one that could match the aggressiveness of this guy though, not sure how he got that bait that good.
