warts are nice and all , but I make a killer 1oz. spinnerbait. There's been so many big bass caught on it lately it's unreal!. I sold 3 to a guy and his son. They have caught three 8's, two 7's, and several in the 5-6 range with it already this month. Boatloads of keepers too. One day they had a 27lb 5 fish limit with an 8.11 kicker on that bait.

this month or in the last 30 days? I know I'm Nit picking. but I thought they caught some of them in March.

I've fished 1 oz spinnerbaits before. It's like throwing a brick.

add some blades ,a soft plastic trailer, skirt , and trailer hook and you've got a really really heavy brick!

Ham, if you want to catch crappie the northern creeks are on fire !!

3 guys I talked to fishing out of 2 boats had caught 127 keepers in 3 days.

Yesterday morning saw a guy that had his limit before noon.

Yeah  Them Warts just catch the little ones. No need to throw em.  I really do like those 1 oz spinner baits too !

warts catch big fish if you put them in the right spot at the right time just like any other lure, When I was younger i caught lots of big bass on a wart. I don't use them anymore because I sold them all. I'm not much on shallow cranking until towards the end of the spawn.. Then I bust out the cranks, Strike King and Rapala.

btw, anybody else wondering why this Bull topic is posted in the TR forum??

fake stuff tipped with a minnow

they want meat!

all I'm saying is the guy who had his limit before noon was using minnows, my Dad was out for 4 hours in the morning too throwing plastic and never caught a crappie.He did have a 24" walter though.

I've caught some on just straight artificial, a hyper grub,but an artificial tipped with a live minnow is way way better for numbers it seems, or just a minnow by itself. They get more aggressive every week. Pretty soon artificial will be all you need. This roller coaster weather is not helping any.
