agreed on the hooks but, two things these are nowhere near $25 and I was given them by a good friend who has a fairly large Tackle shop in Paris Landing Tennessee....I buy soo much from him he gives me goodies every now and then.

I probably googled the wrong bait then.  I thought it was 24.99, either way, its a heck of a lot cheaper than those things on tacklewarehouse that are 100 bucks for one.

HAHAHA.......I take that back, I thought they were only like $13......sorry my bad

I found the hooks to be fine, Gamakatsu long shank 2x round bends. I do have to say that the large squarebill does make the hooks look small but the bill helps keep debris off them.

If your missing fish, it's because of your hookset. You have to reel into them and when you feel their weight, swing. I missed the first few fish swinging on them then I figured that out.
