Seth Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Sounds a lot more productive than my Sunday afternoon trip to the Gasconade. I think I caught a half dozen with only one being a touch shorter than the one you got pictured. The others were dinks. My heart got to racing pretty good after something thumped my jig next to a wood pile, but it ended up being a 4# channel cat. He pulled like a good smally for a little bit and then started rolling and I knew what it was right away. Pat Magee and Hog Wally 2
Al Agnew Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Gotta admit I'm not too upset about all this rain, simply because I can't go fishing anyway...Mary is nearing the end of her treatments but it's really become torture for her, and she needs tender loving care. Hopefully in a couple of weeks she'll be in a lot better shape and I can think more about fishing again.

Hog Wally Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 I forgot to show this brightly colored craw I painted that the fish really liked. Seth 1
MOPanfisher Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 AL I understand, last year it was me going through treatment, and feeling like crap. Wouldn't have made it through without my wife. Between my youngest graduating high school, track meets and it seems like a never ending list of things needing doing. Mitch f 1
