It was my pleasure to fish with mojorig

yesterday. I was his guest in his 2015 BassCat Puma. Really nice boat. We launched at Diamond City. We got a little bit of a late start since I had a dermatologist visit. First time to the dermatologist. No bad news, but I'm going to be vigilant regarding skin cancers.

Water was low 70's. No obvious rise on the lake. Water had a little stain. The new pool level brings those flooded bushes into play.

Large numbers of young bass high in the water column. Panfish everywhere.

Mojorig played with a fancy swim bait most of the day. He caught fish on that monster and had lots and lots and lots of follows. I junk fished behind him and caught fish on a little bit of everything. I got a few looks on top waters, but it wasn't really on. I hooked a nice Spot on a twin prop bait, but he declined being caught. Caught fish on a wide variety of soft plastics.

We were on fish all day, but did not catch as many as we wanted to catch. I had a great time talking Bull Shoals fishing and picking his brain on the lake management and conservation side of things.

Good guy, good fisherman, and a family guy. I hope I'm able to host him one day soon.

low 70s that's great.  It was about (58-61) 2 weeks ago in Oakland area.

Air temps were also much cooler then.

I'll never tell, but he might. You got 3 of them in every color I'm sure.

I did just lose alot of baits when my kayak flipped about a month ago. Slowly rebuilding the collection. Mainly lost soft baits and a few larger hard baits.

Oh no! :o

You need to get a bass mafia box to secure those pet fish.
