PigSooner Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Water was the lowest I've floated the creek 11.2-11.4. Most we ran into said the fishing was slow. We were fortunate to find a couple of spots that were producing. Caught 90% of our fish in 4-5 spots. A couple toads Pat Magee, Johnsfolly, Gavin and 2 others 5
joeD Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Gauge at Kelly must be different now. Thought 11.2 would be good. Did you guys drag then, in spots? Would think fishing would be better, given conditions. Nice fish, though. Fishing couldn't have been that bad. Mmm mm mmh.

We hat a lot of shoals where we "grazed" bottom, and we banged quite a few rocks going through the rough spots. Below 11 we would probably have had to get out and float/ drag the yaks In a few places.
