bobby b. Posted May 28, 2016 Author Posted May 28, 2016 Thanks to all for the suggestions - I will try again tomorrow.
dan hufferd Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 I threw a bass pro jiggy twitch spoon 1/2oz holographic all day in 12 to 20 fow. They tore it up and managed one walleye in that 12 foot range, lots of fun. Those spoons work great on the rock ! I was over 25 fow casting the spoon to the bank then adjusting the drop time the deeper it got. I brought all my spoons home too. bobby b. 1
bobby b. Posted May 29, 2016 Author Posted May 29, 2016 Follow up - Went to the same point at 6 a.m. this morning - had the same results as yesterday - a limit plus of keeper SM but they were a bit smaller today plus one really nice channel cat that we just had for supper. When it slowed I tried the things suggested above - fluke, stick, spoon, smaller and different types of swim baits, grub plus all the stuff above from the first day. Did see fish on the locator again at 8-10 ft; however, I now think allot of the surface activity that occurred after 8 a.m. were carp. Given that I am kinda new at this and TR I'm thinking that one of you guys could have kept the party going later into the day per Dan above. I'm VERY GRADFUL FOR YOUR INPUT AND THE FORUM AS WELL. THANKS AGAIN. marcus and dan hufferd 2
