Fished this morning from 8am to 1pm. We rented from Lilley's which was a great experience. Perfect trout fishing weather. It was overcast and in the low 60s all morning. Caught a break from the weather which we thought was supposed to be rain all day.

Three of us caught about 30 bows with the biggest three at 18, 20, and 21 inches. All the big ones (and about 90% of the fish) were on white 1/8 or 3/32 jigs. We also caught fish on sculpin jigs, rainbow jerk bait, and power eggs.

We went up to the shallows above Fall Creek but most fish were caught by Trout Hollow. Didn't have much luck upstream from there.

Overall it was a great day. It's been about 4 years since I have been trout fishing, and now I'm wondering why.

Yes we did keep the fish which I VERY RARELY do, but I have 20 family members in town for my wedding this weekend so we will make good use of them.

hope you did not keep more than 12 between the three of you

We only kept 12 total.

We kept the first couple stockers but when we realized how good the fishing was we started keeping only bigger fish.

nice job,the bigger ones with the orange colored meat are pretty tasty.I see so many people keeping more fish and fishing illegally than I care to believe that it is nice to see people obeying the rules, good job
