Fish are mean at Big M my son hooked a nice bass but the bass hooked him..this was around 3pm today

How was the fishing upto that point?

Went to ER in cassville they had cut hook and push it through...line trick would not have worked...we had just found the fish also....lol

I hate those! I finally bought a Boga grip to minimize the risk. Did you try the press and yank?

OUCH, was at a weigh in once and one of the guys had a treble buried in the back of his head. I asked if he was going to er and he said no was tired and going home and going to bed. ok but what if the hook gets hung in the bed, he went to the er

Chesse he had just got there and i was coming around from another point( he had his champ and i had mine..lol) and im came trolling around the corner and his wife was yelling come here hurry...so that was the first fish he had caught at around 3 pm..his wife had gottin the one treble hook out of the fish but the other one was in his hand...Doctor at er said good thing we didnt try to remove it ourselves because of the tendons and such and it was in a vein also, Dr cut the hook and pushed it through and blood squirted everywhere...lol....i came home and he's back out there now...lol...i cant see at night so i had to come home before it got dark....cataracts are a bitch at night..hopefully have them fixed by middle of next month.

He caught it on a lipless crank bait....we was in Quillbacks honey hole i think...

My son went back out there last night and didnt even get a bite....if anybody is looking at buying land and a boat dock..about 10 slips in it and some acreage there's one for sale between big M and Eagle Rock for 790,000 bucks......now Quillback knows where we where....lmao

sorry that ended the start of a trip, but sometimes things happened.  in the case of pushing the hook back around through the skin, a little numbing sure helps.

with toby, my westie terrier, in the boat, i really have to be careful boating bass with a mouth full of treble hooks.  he wants to attack all of them.
