I recently bought a used kayak, and have found a crack in it, is there anyplace that does repairs?

is it possible to buy the stuff to repair myself?

Call the company that made it, they will probably have the material to repair.  My roto molded Wilderness System cracked one time.  Company sent me a piece of plastic that looked like weedeater string and I used a heat gun to weld it in place.

Depending on the type of kayak, there may be many options to repair.  Plastic weld, JB weld are materials available at any auto part store.

There are several other similar kits out there.  It really depends on the material your kayak is made out of if you need an actual welder or if you just need a heat gun.  Some are made of medium density polyethylene and some are high density polyethylene.  The mediums are much softer plastic and would think they would be easier to fix.

Charge $30 to $50 depending on the extent of the damaged area at Ozarks Extreme Outdoors. Hit up the Facebook page, or message me here if you want details.

Got free kayak from a friend but it has a big a** hole cut out of it, i have the cut out piece to patch it. Anyone know of a place or person that can fix it. It doesn't have to be pretty just has to float. Located in San Diego any help would be greatly appreciated.

San Diego is the wrong side of the world for any on here to know where to go.  We are stuck in the middle.
