Took my two sons today, been a while since all 3 of us have fished together.  Put in at Viola, fished to 86.  Caught somewhere in the vicinity of 25-30 I'd say.  7 keepers, all shallow.  Buzz bait, square bill, flipping, whopper.  Water was 87 at viola and 91 at hickory hollow.

Very nice! River fish will generally be river fish regardless of the heat.

good job, great company as well.  the heat was brutal yesterday.  i was out working in it and have more to do today.  it is really good to see all the smaller bass in the lake now.  in a couple of years they will be keeper size, at least for the lmg.  the k's take a bit longer to reach the 15" mark.

glad you got out to enjoy a great fishing trip, despite the heat.
