Members SgtChuck64 Posted August 2, 2016 Members Posted August 2, 2016 Fish, are you using downriggers or lead core when trolling?
Fish24/7 Posted August 2, 2016 Author Posted August 2, 2016 longline trolling with 12lb fluorocarbon and/or 10lb braid to get these minnow baits down to about 30' A few weeks ago lead core and flicker shads were putting fish in the boat but not recently. The last 2 weeks deepest diving baits and spoons have been better it seems. Rob P 1

Its great to hit the exact depth, just a pain to reel in and we lost some fish due to reeling in the slack. Had some nasty tangles when a bait didn't run straight.
