Believe it or not, it was pretty tough last night...but when you got a bite, it was a good one!!  Fished from 7pm-3am from Coppermine all the way up War Eagle..water temp in the low 80's. They were super shallow!!  Buzz bait and spinnerbait did the damage...1st place with 17.01 pounds w/ 4.52 big bass!!

Seems the water is turning over. At least it does when you turn on water at home in Rogers.

Is the thermocline breaking up? I started to go this morning but did not due to warmer temps, low south wind, and no clue where to start.   Figure I'll wait a little while longer. Bite should be picking up soon.

We were in shallow water most of the night and didn't pay attention to he thermocline at all. Water color looked pretty dirty up River when we got around dock lights..temp was 82/83.

Saturday I was in Clifty arm and up near point 6 and never saw a thermocline.

I was out Saturday afternoon just messing around in PC and saw multiple big bass cruising the shallows. Only got a few smaller ones to bite but several had to be in the 5 pound range. They seemed to be roaming the bank chasing those bluegill. Whatever the case, congrats mike!
