jtram Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I fished again. I caught fish, caught some fish, then I caught a few more. Piles of fun on midges, nymphs, attractor junk, u name it. Chucked some big junk when the jenny came online, moved one BIG fish, got trigger happy and pulled it out of his freaking mouth ?. Had a blast as always. ollie Posted September 28, 2016 Posted September 28, 2016 Now be a real man and wade that water in shorts! hahaha, I tried it once and thought my legs were going to fall off. Nice fish, I need to get back down there sometime as well. Only and hour and 20 min. from my house. Just can't pull the trigger for that out of state license. jtram and Gavin 2 "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Members Browntrout Posted September 29, 2016 Members Posted September 29, 2016 Ollie they do have trip 3 day licenses, that are much more affordable at $16 or you can get a week for $25. . Im thinking the same thing you are on the distance though im in goodman. Tram do you fish streamers at all? i notice you use alot of nymphs.
ollie Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Yeah, I just need to bite the bullet and get one of them. I really did enjoy fishing down there. I always liked to put in at Parker and paddle upstream along the bluff and float back down. Either that or go below Spider Creek and come back up. jtram Posted September 29, 2016 Author Posted September 29, 2016 I used to get mo, ar, and OK annual licenses. Gave up the OK one because I only used it for spring white bass. Arkansas just has so much to give fish wise, IMO nothing compares.

I fished em on 2 different rivers yesterday, one during the day, one at night. 12 fish or so combined yesterday, all on streamers. trythisonemv 1
