Kings River 10-4

We put in at Kings River Marina and headed south around 7 this morning. Throwing top water, we managed to put 15 or so in the boat with no keepers. Had some nice blow-ups but didn't connect. Around 1130 we changed over to some different stuff and my cousin had a 5 1/2 and a 3+ on back to back casts. We fished down to Arrowhead and finished around 3. Ended the day with 26(4 keepers). We did not see any shad all day. Don't know if they are in the main channel or what , but definite were not back in the coves. Going to try around Cape Fair again tomorrow. I have some good pics, but don't have a clue how to put them on here. Good luck fishing.

Look closer. Different LU I had just obtained. Easier to handle them without that spinning whirly thingy on it.

Ah, gotcha now on the LU. Some sort of newfangled jet drive deal. LOL. And yes, that's quite a nice accessory on the front deck. I might have one or three of those myself if my kids hadn't slept thru health class on how-to-hatch-a-grandkid day.

I love it! Sometimes a demonstration is required!! Evidently, they weren't raised on a farm.
