Bull Shoals 10 lber Eats Shiner From Hand

I don't know if this was ever posted here, but I came across this video today and thought it was pretty neat. Especially since it was taped on Bull Shoals this year... 

Check out this short video of Elite Series pro Andy Montgomery hand feeding a 10-pounder a shiner at Bull Shoals Boat Dock.

Bassmaster Elite Series pro Andy Montgomery captured a short video of a bass eating a shiner out of his hand at the Bull Shoals Boat Dock at the Bassmaster Elite Series event this weekend on Bull Shoals and Lake Norfork. 

Pretty wild to see it come out of nowhere and take the shiner out of his hand.

We used to have a big one would eat a minnow from your hand down a Piedmont Park boat dock down on Clearwater. I think a guy named Frankie Mc calister taught hij to do that.

That sure had some markings like a spot, or was I just imagining that.

Saw Ernie do that with minnows at Webb Creek boat dock when I was a little kid.

I only faintly remember John training one to do that. Inforgot that. I knew John Earnie well. Fished crappie with him several tines. I do not know if you ever seen that crappie pole he kept down there on the dock. Big yellow fiberglass thing. it was  9 ft long. I made that rod and two others. One for myself and another for a friend named Mel Janis. Those 3 rods were made in the mid 70's years before the crappie poles ever came along. John wanted something he could cast a minnow and cork with when the minnow was 4-5 ft below the cork. John was a very good fisherman. I learned a few tricks from him. Best one was making the right disturbance on the suface of the water near the crappie bed. I still do that today. John did it with his hand swishing it on the surface of thr water. I use my rod tip to do about the same. Sometimes it will bring crappie out of the bed on a feeding spree.
