Minn Kota Fortrex 112

Hey guys, I've never tried to buy or sell anything thru the forum before so please forgive me if this post is in the wrong place or inappropriate and, if so, please feel free to remove immediately.

That being said, I would appreciate some advice on how to best go about listing a trolling motor that I have for sale.  As the title indicates, it's a Minn Kota Fortrex 112 (with universal sonar and 45" shaft) that was a factory installation on my 2016 Ranger Z521 that I purchased new in March.

I'm upgrading to the new Ultrex so obviously no longer need the Fortrex.  It is in literally like new condition - not a mark on it that I'm aware of and works perfectly.

My new one is being installed on Monday so the old will be available immediately thereafter.  I live on the northwest edge of Kansas City and if someone in the Table Rock area or thereabouts was interested I could probably work out something regarding delivery or meeting you somewhere in between in order to eliminate shipping cost.

I'm asking $900 as I believe new ones are going for around $1600 plus tax, shipping, etc.  It also has 15 months transferrable warranty remaining.

Again, my apologies if this somehow violates forum policy.

Anyone who hasn't run the Fortrex is missing out. I have a 4-year-old Fortrex 101 and I'm a river rat, so my trolling motor takes a beating. This one has never given me a single problem.

Man, I sure hope somebody agrees with you cause that's what I thought when I put my 2004 Ranger 520 up for sale last March.  It's is such perfect shape you'd think it was never used.  Have yet to get a single person to even come look at it!

And ten minutes away from my house, Cabela's is selling similar age rigs for $10000 - $15000 more than I'm asking that are beat to crap.  They haven't even bothered to wash the scum lines off of em'.

Anyways, I hope you're right about the trolling motor - I don't need two boats much less three trolling motors!

Is the trolling motor still for sale? And is it 24v or 36v?

Yes it is.  It is 36v - 112 lbs. thrust.

That's what I figured, my battery compartment isn't big enough for a 3rd battery so I guess I'm out of luck. Sounds like a great deal anyways, hopefully someone can get some use out of it!
