Norm M Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 Over twenty years ago my mother passed on . She had made the decision to be an organ/tissue donor . We got letters of thanks thru the donor agency from people she helped with her decision . Bread cast upon the waters. Flash forward to today, I wrote one of those letters of thanks to the donor agency . It took me a couple of days to find the right words but I got it figured out . Someone made that decision to donate tissue that was used to reconstruct my tongue . That enabled me to avoid more pain and fewer complications during the surgery and recovery . Thanks Ma, for making that cast for me MOstreamer, timinmo, kjackson and 8 others 11 what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends

Hog Wally Posted December 25, 2016 Posted December 25, 2016 My daughter Macey received a full liver transplant 8 years ago. I was slated to donate a lobe off of my liver but within a week she had a perfect match come to us from a unfortunate tragedy of a 9 year old boy. We have kept in contact with his family and I'm sure it helps them to know what a gift he gave to us God Bless and Merry Christmas MOPanfisher, tho1mas, Mitch f and 1 other 4
