Had one extra day off work yesterday so made it count.

Rigging up river where I was at WT was 44-45.  Started out where I went last week and after 2 hours with only one keeper crappie, a cat fish and several dinks I finally listen to that inner voice to "make a move".

Pulled up and headed up main river along a flat/channel edge in 12 fow and setting bait 10 feet down.  Caught some in 17-20 foot of water 10 feet down around bait clouds but, they where holding along that channel edge better.

Caught well over 20 or so but started out there too late to get a mess of good eaters.  Ended with 10 keepers with 3 of those being nice 14" fat bottom girls that I released.

Awesome weather yesterday!

Happy New Year and God bless.

Great report and nice fish. What kind of camera are you using? It's got a fish eye lens that I like. I also like the sepia style black and white photos.I am a bit jealous since I haven't caught a crappie in months. To be honest I really haven't fished for them either. Keep the reports coming.

Thanks, it's a Contour ROAM camera.  It's a pretty simple video and photo camera.  I use to use it a lot in my mountain bike exploring days.
