Members Ffer Posted December 29, 2016 Members Posted December 29, 2016 Love hot horseradish but couldn't find very hot until I bought some Nasal Napalm over the internet. ( came from a place called Pepper Palace) WOW A very small amt will open your sinuses up like nothing else. Need to be extremely careful with it. Johnsfolly 1
Quillback Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 I like horseradish with prime rib, but I would not want it to be real strong. "Nasal Napalm" would probably be a little beyond what I like. Johnsfolly and Smalls21 2
Johnsfolly Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 My daughter is starting to like stronger wasabi when she eats sushi. The nasal napalm may be still out beyond her tolerance. I do have a friend that may like that brand. They are always looking for hotter horseradish. I also agree with QB about putting horseradish on prime rib. I want to taste it but not cry over each bite.
jdmidwest Posted December 30, 2016 Posted December 30, 2016 White vinegar makes horseradish hotter. If you can find a source for the roots, you can make it as hot as you want. I had a boss that liked everything so hot you could not taste anything for a week. Not a very good cook so it always killed the bad taste of food he made. Same way with peppers. He could even ruin horse radish. http://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/herbs/horseradish/make-horseradish-hot.htm "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S.
