Members smiling mallard Posted January 14, 2017 Members Posted January 14, 2017 Enjoyed the record temperature on Wednesday by catching a limit of whites & a couple slabs. Fish didn't respond to the warm weather as the water temp. was only 37°. They wanted chartreuse maribou jigs & Garland baby shad fished vertical. Water clarity was very good for the Neosho. Probably 2' + Johnsfolly, BilletHead, Daryk Campbell Sr and 3 others 6
ollie Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Sweet! Looks like a great day to me! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Dutch Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 Nice bunch of fish. What is the limit of whites over there?
Members smiling mallard Posted January 14, 2017 Author Members Posted January 14, 2017 20 per person.
Members nwaflakes Posted January 19, 2017 Members Posted January 19, 2017 Hey, not trying to steal your spot or anything, but I was just curios about how far up the Neosho you went? Looks like you put in at Twin Bridges?
Members smiling mallard Posted January 21, 2017 Author Members Posted January 21, 2017 The old saying that "you don't have to find the white's, you just have to find the white bass fishermen" should hold true with this weather. Before the water came up they were above the launch just a mile or two.
